The Kalashnikov USA™ KS-12 shotgun is a semi-automatic shotgun made in the U.S.A. but based on Russia’s popular line of Saiga hunting shotguns The KS-12 accepts 12 gauge 2 ¾” and 3” shells from low recoil target loads to slugs thanks to the gun’s innovative and adjustable gas system. The long stroke gas system of Mikhail Kalashnikov’s legendary AK-47 is carried over to the KS-12 and provides reliable operation under extreme environmental conditions.
The KS-12 also comes equipped with the classic AK style side-mounted optics rail to allow the use of scopes or red dot sights. The threaded barrel allows you to install any muzzle device compatible with 12 gauge cartridges. The KS-12 ships with one 5-round magazine but also works with higher capacity box or drum magazines. The detachable box and drum magazines allow you to reload or change ammunition cartridges (e.g. buckshot vs. slugs) fairly easily.
Most currently available Saiga accessories interchange with the KS-12 including magazines, drums, muzzle devices and external chokes.
The KS-12 is NOT compliant with California firearm laws.
This KS-12 shotgun accepts 2.75” and 3” shells from low brass to slugs owing to its Gas Regulation System for heavy and light loads. It comes with a 5 round detachable magazine, however it also accepts larger magazines and drums. It comes equipped with the classic AK style side-mounted optics rail. It also has a fixed buttstock and a standard pistol grip with a total length (OAL) of 38”.
